Learning Styles

My results for the Learning Stye quiz were quite what I expected actually!
I am definately a very hands on and visual learner, the more physical things are the more I enjoy it and gain knowledge easily.
The results also show that I am very verbal, I do find things easier to figure out and discover if I can discuss and draw diagrams with other people.
Learning Experiences to suit my learning style would definately include a lot of physical tasks, group tasks and investigative tasks where there is opportunity for discussions, etc.
Considering a class of 25 students and their different learning styles, I would try and incorporate atleast one activity that benefits each of the different learning styles to allow students an opportunity to learn in their preffered way but also experience different ways of learning as well.
some ICT's I would include would be hands on equipment such as video cameras, for example, in my area of Phys. Ed, allowing students to video tape their own performances in groups and then anaylsing them would be a good use of that technology and appeals to the needs of visual, social, physical, verbal and aural learners.
I would also incorporate a lot of powerpoint aids, videos, virtual gaming devices such as wii's to anaylse movement in such (in regards to using technology in a HPE classroom).
Before doing this course I didn't think I would really use much technology in lessons for HPE but I am really starting to think differently as there are just so many ICT's available!
Sam.
